You will have a chance to experience the thrill of seeing rural China in a way few foreigners get to ...from the vantage point of a bicycle seat!
We see in Jesus’ ministry that He often first went up into the mountains to pray and then went out and ministered to people in need. Impact! Cycle China team members will spend time praying in strategic places such as temples or mountain shrines. We will pray for light to shine in a very dark land and then go out to meet with those who have never heard the Good News that Jesus came to share.
A Bit About the Itinerary
After arriving in China, you will have time to meet with the other team members and receive orientation for your trip. This will include time to get acquainted with your bike and other gear in order to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. The next day will find you riding out of the town into the Chinese countryside!
The time in town will be quite comfortable, but you should come prepared for very simple living conditions. Accommodation will be in tents or small country inns, and we will be enjoying the local food. There will be 8 or 9 days and around 600 km of cycling, praying, worshiping, seeking and discovering. The team will then return to town for a time of debrief and a short time of sightseeing and shopping before you return to your home country.

If visiting areas with little or no exposure to foreigners, staying in tents and small country hotels, praying in strategic places, spending time worshiping together, taking advantage of the opportunities God puts before you, and of course cycling 60 km a day sounds like fun to you, then you’re the kind of person we would like to see join an Impact! Cycle China team!
These trips are about seeking God in our own lives and seeing how He moves us to have a heart and a vision for the work that He is accomplishing in China.
FIT FOR MISSIONS?
Due to the physical nature and remoteness of this trip, you will need to be in excellent health and physically fit, able to cycle up to 80 km in one day without any problems.
A servant heart and plenty of patience will surely add to the depth of your experience in China. Come prepared to impact others and to be impacted!
