Several Summer Camps will be held in 2016 will be in central north China with primary, middle and high school students. Camp leaders will need to arrive in China Saturday July 9th and depart Sunday 24th.

We expect camps to have a minimum of 20 students but up to 50. The Camp will be English-language based with fun English programmes including language, music, games and craft. The theme of each Camp will be announced at a later date but will be designed to promote thoughtful conversation.
Last year one camp featured the Golden Rule – “Do under others as you would have them do unto you.”
Another had a cultural theme where we presented our own cultural background and worldview whilst allowing the students opportunity to tell us about their lives and their hopes and dreams for the future.
Leaders running the more formal sessions will have flexibility as to how to address their topic. The emphasis though should be on oral English. Discussion groups, seminars, workshops or debates could all be appropriate.
We would like a minimum of twelve leaders to help with the running of the camps.
Leaders will need to budget up to NZ$3,000 per person to cover airfares, accommodation, sightseeing and incidental expenses. This estimate is subject to change depending on what is provided for us. It is unlikely to exceed this value. There will be a training/orientation weekend in Auckland prior to departure where ideas can be shared and more specific information given.

Inspiring people who love the Lord and love children.
Experienced Camp leaders – helpful but not essential.
A mix of old and wise with a preponderance of young and energetic!!
People able to teach music, craft or sports activities..
Outdoor adventure enthusiasts and sports people.
This is an English language based programme so applicants must speak good English. Ethnic Chinese with Mandarin as well as good English will be greatly valued.
